“真实世界”是建立在上海生活的个人经历之中。由于数字信息社会的到来,城市中大大小小的监控设备正在以极高的精度还原着城市本来的面貌,同时各种各样的信息、地理位置、现场照片、描述等也在帮助人们建立更加准确的信息来源。

但同时各种各样的信息,以及丰富的颜色/图形等作为叠加使得人们对于城市物体之间的边界认知正在不断消解。城市逐渐变成一些电脑像素或者是符号被人们认知。这种不断’重构‘和‘消解’的过程带给人们一种奇妙的体验,一种陌生熟悉的,现实与超验的城市幻觉。

Dummy Lab将组织一场对战游戏,参与者将加入“重构”和“消解”方进行对抗,并共同来建立一个虚拟的“真实世界”。在体验的过程中,体验者人眼勾勒出的城市颜色会根据身体的反馈数据(呼吸频率等)不断变化。同时硬件设备会搜集观看者的身体数据,来决定城市的形态。游戏以在这个最后由观看者人眼,观看者背后的观众和监控设备共同勾勒出的魔幻都市中,最后要在这个被模糊边界的城市中寻找到特定的物体才算完成任务。


The "real world" is built on the personal experience of living in Shanghai. With the arrival of the digital information society, large and small monitoring devices are restoring the original appearance of cities with extremely high precision, meanwhile, all kinds of information, geographic locations, live photos, descriptions, etc. are also helping people to establish more accurate sources of information.

However, the accumulation of various information and rich colors / graphics, etc., is dissolving people's awareness of the boundaries among urban objects. The city has gradually become some computer pixels or symbols and then recognized by people. This continuous process of ‘reconstruction’ and ‘deconstruction’ brings a wonderful experience, a strange but familiar, a realistic but surrealistic city illusion.

Dummy Lab will organize a battle game, and participants will join the two parties "Reconstruction" or "Resolve" to fight against each other, therefore jointly build a virtual "real world". During the experience, the city color outlined by the eyes of experiencers will change continuously according to the feedback data (breathing frequency, etc.) of the body. At the same time, the hardware device will collect the body data of the viewers to determine the shape of the city. Only when a specific object is found out in this city outlined by the viewers’ eyes, the audience behind the viewers and device monitors, and whose boundaries are blurred, the game is completed.
